WELCOME TO MY
PROFESSIONAL SITE
My name is Simon Flechaire,
I am a mountaineer, I live and work in the mountains. I am an IFMGA mountain guide, Canyon guide, and climbing instructor. I speak fluent german french and english.
Mountain sports have moved my life since I was a young boy. I remember climbing a small rock with my Grandfather, and upon arriving at its summit, seeing a large ice gully up above, and asking him how it was possible to climb such a thing. Or the first Ski touring, lit up with a million snow cristals, before returning back to the cozy warmth of a wooden chalet.
Today I am a guide, and happy to share these exceptional moments with others.
My base camp is Chamonix, and it is between here and the three valleys that I base most of my activities.
The Ubaye, the Queyras, or in the Maurienne, region of Nice, and the Verdon. Corsica, the Dolomites, or the swiss 4000ers, North Africa, or Indian, Scotland or Patagonia, just some of the mountainous countries regions possible to Visit.

Curious by nature, I propose personal guiding all year round. Creating Projects together, I can suggest many Ideas!

TO UNEXPECTED ADVENTURES
Always seeking new places to inhabit, nomadic people of the mountain migrate by season to feed their livestock.
As a Guide, and through a passion for sharing and discovery, I will look for the places best suited to Slide, climb or contemplate with you.
Meeting with local traditions, knowledge, and tales to be told!
In the mountains we can experience and draw it as we want. As well as the classic itineraries, I would like to offer the possibility of adventures off the beaten track. Rediscovering the Authenticity in non~frequented areas, so you can live and the share the subtleties with which I live with daily.

MOUNTAIN IN 4 SEASONS
Life in the mountains has a rhythm of its own corresponding with each season. Man must live through it, as visitor we must depend on it. The mountains are a way of life, a style, a culture, and traditions.
Today we come to find that when going beyond ones self, there lies joy, and excitement in practicing our activities.
Searching each day, each week, each month of the year to find a place to share, and become conscious of this fragile Earth that we profit from so greatly.

I can offer a program of varied technical learning, that will allow you to go forth and adventure in the most far reached place, the wildest mountains, or to ski on the most unlikely slopes. I want for you to meet with yourselves, and to feel and taste the most subtle forces you hold within, to find your resources that you are not yet aware of.
Going beyond ones self, and sharing are the key words for these days passed together.
